How really true is this statement is it applicable to you or I, so who then is this message talking about, that we must find out because stitch in time they say always saves nine. The subject matter of this piece of article says – success has many parents, but failure is an orphan; this is an idiomatic expression used sarcastically on a person who has achieved success (Greatness), and has crossed the hurdle which others see as a stumbling block, hurdle, or unachievable task. When he (the successful man or woman) through hard work and determination breaks the barrier which has held him bound for a long time, and finally achieved greatness. This is what happens next, all the people who has known him before, and have refused to associate with him or her because of his interim predicament, could now see that he has climbed the echelon of ladder of success, he would now be depicted and best addressed as; oh that lovely young, handsome, illustrious and of course SUCCESSFUL YOUNG MAN, yes! We know him he is our son, and we have always known he will make us proud some day. That is for the successful chap, you can see that many people claimed to be his parent even those that he has never met one on one in his life. So it is with SUCCESS everyone likes to be associated with the word SUCCESS.

……But on the other hand FAILURE is regarded as an orphan, isn’t that obvious from what we have read earlier on concerning success, we need not stress too much on this particular one, because it is simply the exact opposite of the other one who could not attain or achieve what the other man did, consequently he has allowed the impediment of life, and his present predicament to weigh him down, and he sees every challenges of life as an excuse for his failure. And what do you think people who are his close associates will remark on him, here are their possible comments on him, oh that USELESS, GOOD FOR NOTHING, NEVER DO WELL of a man or is he even a man or woman I don’t even know, any way, whatever, thank God I don’t even know him, is he even from this our community?, maybe he is from the next village, he has always been a disappointment to himself and people around him, that is why I never like to associate with him.

Now what can we deduce from this, it is crystal clear and of a strong affirmation that the statement above generally holds true. And that is the more reason we must break every obstacle debarring us from embracing SUCCESS, by putting on a DETERMINED and FIGHTING SPIRIT.

You must agree with me that for you to achieve power to overcome so many things in life, is not a butter on bread’s affair. Just like the saying goes that gold is not found on the surface of the earth.

To achieve power for victory can be liken to a man set out for a battle against his enemies, for him to achieve that power which will guarantee him the victory he needs, then he must go all out in search of one thing – KNOWLEDGE.

There goes the wise saying that knowledge is power , according to Hosea chapter four verses six, says and I quote ‘’ My people perish for lack of knowledge’’. In other words what you do not know may be the greatest enemy that will kill you. You remember the man who went in search of knowledge, for him to be able to withstand his enemy, of what purpose or benefit is this knowledge to him.

PURPOSE OF KNOWLEDGE

- It will put you in the forefront of knowing the strength of your opponent, and this will help you in preparing for the great challenge ahead of you.

- It also keeps you abreast in knowing the weaker point of your enemy and you capitalize on this for a sure victory.

Conclusion, we should have it at the back of our palm that the power of the mind is superior to the muscular power, also do not forget that what you learn is what determines what you earn. But then what determines what you know – Is the books that you read, and the people you associate with.

A woman is so unique in creation , hey I do not want to sound too biblical here, but take a close look, you may liken a woman as ‘’ face of a thousand mask’’. In other words , a woman possess so many virtues, both seen and unseen, such as beauty, elegance, charming, love, character, companion and so on, The choice is entirely man’s.

If a man chooses a woman for her beauty, he should remember that what he sees most times do not appear the way it looks. For this reason beauty is like a vapor which appears but for a season after which it disappears and do not stand the test of time, but take for instance character, well that sound more like the ideal woman , because character is your real person, it is never masked, it plays out itself unconsciously even unannounced.

- The wife on the other hand expects the man to shower more love on her

- She also expects her husband’s attention whenever she calls for it, even if it means the man not attending to other issues that may be of personal importance to him, his business, etc.

AN IDEAL RELATIONSHIP BUILD UP

You need to understand one thing, in relationship matter it takes individual couple to make it work, because no marriage is 100% perfect. The man needs to understand that women are highly emotional in their thinking, and should not be castigate for that. The woman also needs to understand the man as the head of the family who is highly talented logically in his thinking, as should not be taken for granted on that.

Now look at it this way two people of different back ground, different social life style, different belief, language and all that coming together in matrimony, and you think that there will not arise occasional clashes, but the antidote to putting away that is – UNDERSTANDING.

- Couple needs to understand and feel what the other person feels.

- They need to respect one another’s view and opinion.

- They should reciprocate love to one another.

- They should point out each other’s wrong doings, and not by nagging all day.

Finally, remember that uncontrollable anger brings quarrel, breakup in marriages and destruction. We should avoid it like plaque, even Moses in the bible just by reason of his anger the promise land that he toiled and labored for eluded him.
